Wiring Loom Disassemble

Couple of shots of the wiring loom, which is in a terrible state.

Clearly somone has had a crack at it before, bsed on the soldering.

Now I just need to find the right gauge and coloured wire!!!

 

Road Test

Decided it was time to take her out for a road test and to see how she sits on the road.

She was hardly noticeable behind the Forester, other than just a little when under brakes.

I must stay though, I think she looks awesome, and its real motivation to imagine what she'd be like once done.

Test firing one of the new 1964 Mercury 650SS outboards that will likely power Capricious rather than the 1967 650SS:

Timber stringers cut and test fitted:

First layer of 600gsm CSM on the stringer forms.

Transom and stringer forms in and ready for glassing.

Transom laminated and ready for installation.

First lamination for dash in place.
